“The Ukrainian side was warned that if hostile acts continue against employees of Russian diplomatic and consular missions on the territory of Ukraine, on the principle of reciprocity, additional measures will be taken in relations between the personnel of Ukrainian embassies, consulates general and consulates in Russia,” the Foreign Ministry reported.
Earlier, the Russian Federation expelled the Ukrainian consul in St. Petersburg Vasily Pokotilo. The FSB was informed that he was stalled during a meeting with a Russian while receiving information from a slammed hate. The department said that his activities portrayed “hostile towards Russia and incompatible with the status of a diplomatic worker.” He left the territory of the Russian Federation on April 21.
