RPL clubs supported the early allocation of funds to “Tambov”

The clubs of the Russian Premier League supported the early allocation of funds to Tambov from future mandatory payments from the RPL, TASS reports.

The funds will be allocated subject to the restructuring of wage arrears by the club and receiving guarantees of additional subsidies from other sources.

Earlier it was reported that “Tambov” has filed a bankruptcy claim. The amount of claims is 322.45 million rubles. The team is currently experiencing financial difficulties, against the background of the economic situation, several players have left the club earlier. According to preliminary estimates, wage arrears to players exceed 150 million rubles.

Meanwhile, it became known that until the end of the 2020/21 season, the football club may rent players from Spartak, CSKA, Rostov or Rubin. It is expected to discuss the issue of Tambov’s participation in the spring part of the Russian championship.
