Rospotrebnadzor gave recommendations to universities on the prevention of coronavirus.
The document published on the agency's website says that higher education institutions are encouraged to measure the temperature of students, teachers and staff at least twice a day. An "entrance filter" should be organized for all persons entering the building of the university, with the obligatory conduct of thermometry in a non-contact way. Those who show signs of infectious disease during the day should be isolated until an ambulance or emergency arrives.
It is also reported that students should not be allowed to congregate in hallways, corridors and at the entrance to classrooms. There should be control over the observance of social distance.
In addition, it is recommended to provide students, teachers and university staff with a supply of masks and monitor their use. When conducting training sessions with a creative focus and teachers during lectures, masks can not be worn.
Rospotrebnadzor also recommended that universities switch to the distance format of extramural and evening groups as much as possible, as well as revise the schedule of training sessions and practices, changing the start time of the first lesson for different groups. This will maximize the separation of groups. It is recommended, if possible, to assign a room for each of them to conduct training there.
The recommendations also suggest that teachers over the age of 65 and those with chronic illnesses should not be allowed to attend classes.
