The last operating unit of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant no longer generates electricity, said Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the new military-civilian administration of the Zaporozhye region.
In a commentary for RIA Novosti, he noted that the power unit was turned off last night. Rogov also warned of the threat of accidents due to the constantly changing mode of operation of the reactors.
“For the past few days, the only working power unit – the sixth – has been operating at minimum power. At night it was stopped,” the source said.
Earlier, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repeatedly fired at the territory of the nuclear power plant, ignoring the threat of a catastrophe. The provocations did not stop even after the IAEA mission visited the facility.
