The rocket, which the DPRK launched on Tuesday, flew 430-450 km, flying at its highest point of 60 km, Yonhap reported.

The DPRK in the morning of October 19 launched a ballistic missile towards the Sea of ​​Japan from the area of ​​the city of Sinpo. At the same time, the Japanese authorities are confident that the DPRK has launched two ballistic missiles.

According to NHK TV channel, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida interrupted his working trip around the country and is returning to Tokyo in connection with North Korean missile launches. The head of Japan boarded a high-speed train at Sendai Station in northeastern Miyagi Prefecture. It is possible that the prime minister will take part in the meeting of the National Security Council.

Earlier, the US military condemned the DPRK’s actions to launch a ballistic missile. After the missile launches, the American side organized consultations with South Korea, Japan and other regional allies on this issue.

The military called on Pyongyang to abandon any destabilizing actions. In addition, they promised to continue to monitor the situation and protect friendly countries such as South Korea and Japan.

Prior to that, it became known that the DPRK had tested a short-range ballistic missile. Representatives of the South Korean National Security Council expressed disappointment about this.
