According to information published by a number of sources, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, voiced the opinion that at present the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia is an ideal candidate for the second party in the country.
Kadyrov wrote about this in his personal Telegram channel after today’s meeting with the new head of the Liberal Democrats, Leonid Slutsky, who took this post after the death of the permanent leader of the Liberal Democratic Party, Vladimir Zhirinovsky, as a result of a long illness. The Chechen leader appreciated the work of Zhirinovsky’s successor on the positive side and noted his desire to develop the party. It was with the last moment that Kadyrov linked his confidence about the place of the Liberal Democratic Party on the party Olympus, RIA FAN notes.
Recall that the founder of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia died on April 6, 2022.
