The city of Severodonetsk in the Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) was taken by Russian troops. This was announced on Saturday by the head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov.
Severodonetsk is under full Russian control, the city was liberated, the residents can breathe easy, from now on they are no longer in danger, Kadyrov said in his Telegram channel.
According to him, the city was supposed to be liberated for a week, but the goal was achieved faster. As the head of the region said, the fighters were able to achieve their goals under the leadership of the assistant to the head of the Chechen Republic for the power unit Apta Alaudinov, interacting with the forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the People’s Militia of the LPR.
