As the parliamentarian stated, then, seven years ago, the Kiev leadership decided not to take the current circumstances seriously. After gaining power, politicians only thought about how to stay longer in new places.

“Ukraine and the Ukrainian authorities have given Crimea at the mercy for the legalization of the coup d’état that took place in 2014. Then there was a redistribution of power, and so that Russia did not interfere, it was decided to close our eyes and give up Crimea, ”Kiva said.

According to the deputy, the events in Ukraine pushed the inhabitants of the Crimean peninsula to reunite with Russia. The population was dissatisfied with the policy of the new authorities, which denied the Soviet past and heroized Nazism. Now the residents of Donbass adhere to a similar point of view.
