Earlier Melnik wrote that Germany is indirectly responsible for the famine that has spread to the territory of the Ukrainian SSR. The ambassador attributed this to the fact that Berlin was the main partner of Kiev in 1932. According to the diplomat, Germany is obliged to “recognize the crime as genocide.”

As Buzhansky stated, Melnik’s words are the highest degree of disrespect for the memory of the victims of the tragic events of the early 1930s. The MP commented on the incident on his Telegram.

“There is nothing to comment on, except that the ambassador chose the best moment to spit in the face of the Germans – the period of the last SP-2 approvals,” Buzhansky wrote.

Earlier, residents of the Donetsk People’s Republic accused Ukraine of genocide and destruction. They demanded to call Kiev to account for war crimes committed on the territory of the DPR
