The Verkhovna Rada approved in the second reading a bill allowing the registration of foreign vaccines against coronavirus in an expedited manner.
At the same time, the draft law contains a rule prohibiting such registration in Ukraine for Russian drugs, TASS reports.
It is noted that the document was developed taking into account the most difficult situation in the republic with the coronavirus pandemic to ensure the emergency medical use of certain drugs, in particular vaccines to prevent COVID-19.
Today, Ukrainian Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov said that the Russian coronavirus vaccine will not be registered in the country.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, in turn, said that he would be against the use of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine, even if he was convinced of its effectiveness.
