In the Carpathian region, due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus, quarantine checkpoints are being deployed and a special entry regime is being introduced, Ukrinform reports.
The Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies made a decision during a meeting on Saturday. Thus, quarantine points will be established at the entrances and exits from individual settlements of the region. A special regime of entry and exit from individual settlements of the region for citizens and vehicles will also be established. Monitoring of the health status of travelers will be organized by means of contactless temperature measurement, and if a sick person is identified, they will be sent to medical facilities.
In total, 16 quarantine points will operate in the region.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers announced a new outbreak of coronavirus in Ivano-Frankivsk region. In this regard, a temporary hospital for the sick will be opened in the region for the first time.
The government also noted that the quarantine in the country has been extended until April 30.
