Already today, September 2, pensioners in Russia will receive the so-called “Putin’s top ten” – a lump sum payment of 10,000 rubles. But not everyone will have the money.
On September 2, 30.7 million residents of Russia of retirement age, who receive payments to a bank card, can count on replenishing their personal budget. The remaining 12.7 million people will have to wait until the day when they usually receive their pension. This category includes people to whom money is brought home or they themselves pick it up at the “Russian Post” or from other delivery companies.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova at a government meeting said that the mechanism for calculating payments to pensioners was worked out at a meeting of the Ministry of Labor and representatives of the United Russia party last week.
“All recipients of pensions, both senior citizens and citizens with disabilities, families who receive a survivor’s pension, will receive assistance,” Golikova explained.
The pensioners did not have to write any statements. Payments were accrued to them automatically.
