Russians, who worked in rural areas, but later moved out of the settlement, all should equally receive a supplement to their pension.
This proposal was initiated by one of the parliamentary parties. Its representatives voiced a proposal at a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and the heads of the State Duma factions.
At the moment, the situation is such that a citizen of the Russian Federation, who has been working in rural areas for more than 30 years, has the right to count on a premium of 25% of the insurance part. There is a condition – a pensioner must live in the village.
Putin said he would look into the real issue. He agreed that it doesn’t matter whether the pensioner lives in the village or not.
