Head of State Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants in the United Russia-Communist Party of China dialogue, the telegram was posted on the Kremlin’s website.
According to the Russian leader, inter-party dialogue is a significant component of relations with China, including the strategic interaction of the two countries.
The President noted that, despite the restrictions associated with the spread of COVID-19, United Russia and the CPC continue to maintain systematic contacts both through central bodies and with the participation of regional party structures.
The inter-party dialogue, as he stressed, allows for a thorough discussion of issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as exchange of practical experience in the areas of party building, parliamentary and legislative activities, while coordinating useful, popular social and political initiatives.
Vladimir Putin hopes that joint constructive and fruitful work will further strengthen friendship and mutual understanding between Moscow and Beijing.
Earlier, the Chinese diplomatic service said that relations between the PRC and the Russian Federation “have reached the highest level.”
