Putin instructed to transfer significant public services to electronic format

Russian President Vladimir Putin gave an order to transfer mass socially significant public services into electronic format by January 1, 2023, a list of instructions following a meeting with the Cabinet of Ministers was published on the Kremlin's website.

A progress report must be submitted semi-annually starting January 1, 2021.

The President also instructed the government to develop and implement at the regional level standard regulations for the provision of socially significant public services in electronic form, including the use of the infrastructure of the Single Portal of Public Services.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to coordinate the work of the executive authorities of the Russian regions, responsible for ensuring the transfer of public services to electronic format.
