Putin instructed the Central Bank to ensure the download of data on the accounts of Russians in public services

Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government and the Bank of Russia to ensure the possibility of entering data on bank accounts of citizens on the portal of public services for social payments.

As reported on the Kremlin website, the head of state gave such an order following a meeting with members of the government.

The Cabinet of Ministers and the Central Bank will have to ensure the possibility of citizens placing on a single portal of state and municipal services the details of their bank accounts for the provision of state and municipal services by July 1 of this year.

In addition, departments will have to develop measures to protect information posted by citizens.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko said that the government will transfer 20 popular services to the new version of the government services portal by the end of March. Also, by the end of the year, more than a hundred services will be available on the new version of the portal, while the transition will be invisible to users.
