“Putin does nothing there”: Peskov answered the question about the president’s “palace” in Gelendzhik

The investigation of the leader of the Russian opposition Alexei Navalny about a certain object in Gelendzhik caused a wide resonance in society. The politician and his supporters believe that he is the secret “palace” of the head of state.

Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov strongly denies these allegations. A Kremlin spokesman has repeatedly stated that the data given in the “disclosure” does not correspond to reality and is an ordinary lie. But in a conversation with journalists from one of the federal TV channels, he decided to give a detailed commentary on the situation.

Peskov admitted that the circle of Russian President Vladimir Putin had long been aware of the impending information attacks on the head of state. According to the diplomat, the authors of such investigations only want to destabilize the political situation in the country. The press secretary once again stressed that everything mentioned in them is “pure lies,” and those who have read the material should “turn on their heads” and think about what Putin has to do with it.

Nevertheless, Dmitry Peskov admitted that there really is a palace in Gelendzhik, but “Putin is not doing anything there.” He said that the locals are really talking about some big object, but the head of state has nothing to do with it. Peskov believes that the object is privately owned, while its owners have the right to own such property, if they do not violate the law.

“And so skillful, you know, intricacies, which are lies, I repeat once again, they are precisely in the mainstream of these information attacks. This is how this should be treated,” summed up the press secretary of the Russian president.
