Russian leader Vladimir Putin dismissed Alexander Abelin from the post of Assistant Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation. The corresponding decree was posted on the official portal of legal information.

“To release Abelin Alexander Pavlovich from the post of Assistant Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation,” the document says.

Abelin has worked as Assistant Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation since December 2016.

At the end of last year, the president dismissed the deputy head of the Federal Penitentiary Service Anatoly Yakunin.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin signed a decree on holding the Year of the Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia in 2022 in the country.
