Russian President Vladimir Putin has liquidated the National Crisis Management Center; the corresponding decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
Earlier, the Federation Council approved the change in the status of the National Center for Crisis Management from an institution subordinate to the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia to a structural unit.
In October last year, the center was liquidated as an independent legal entity. He became a member of the central office of the Ministry of Emergencies.
It was decided to change the status of NTSUKS in order to improve the quality of management of the unified state system for preventing and eliminating emergencies. For this, unified decision-making centers will be created.
It also became known that the Emergencies Ministry is planning to create crisis management centers in the Arctic.
