Russian leader Vladimir Putin discussed with the head of the Just Russia – For the Truth faction, Sergei Mironov, the party’s plans to work in parliament. This was announced by the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov, writes TASS.
Peskov recalled that Putin continues a series of meetings with the leaders of parliamentary factions, the dialogue with Mironov took place within the framework of one of such meetings.
According to a Kremlin spokesman, an exchange of views took place between the president and the party leader on the results of the elections, as well as a conversation about the faction’s plans to work in the State Duma. Mironov also informed the head of state about a number of party initiatives.
A series of separate meetings between the President and the leaders of parliamentary factions began last week. The head of state previously met with the leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky, and also spoke with the head of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Gennady Zyuganov.
