Putin denied information about the palace attributed to him

Russian President Vladimir Putin, during an online meeting with university students, commented on the information about the palace in Gelendzhik allegedly belonging to him, reports TASS.

The head of state noted that due to lack of free time, he did not watch the film describing the “investigation”, but got acquainted with the video selections that his assistants brought him. Putin said that nothing that is indicated in the film as his property has never belonged to him or his close relatives.

According to the president, this information has been circulated for more than 10 years, and now “at a convenient opportunity” the materials have been compiled and launched into the network in order to “brainwash” the citizens of Russia.

In addition, Putin added that in relation to any such real estate there must be some documents, data on financial transactions, for example, registration with a notary.

Earlier, the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin knew about the preparation of pseudo-exposures against Putin. He called the purpose of such provocations “the buildup of the situation.” According to Peskov, the disseminated information is a lie.
