The Presidents of Belarus and Russia Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin, following the talks held on February 22 in Sochi, talked by phone today.
As reported on the website of the President of Belarus, the leaders of the two countries discussed the strengthening of joint defense systems, the functioning of the tax system, as well as the work of the media in modern conditions.
Let us remind you that negotiations between Putin and Lukashenko were held in Krasnaya Polyana in Sochi the day before. The focus of politicians was on bilateral relations and international cooperation. The heads of state discussed the issue of joint response to emerging challenges, in particular, in the field of military security.
According to the Belarusian leader, the governments of Belarus and Russia need to finalize another six or seven road integration maps out of the 33 envisaged by the agreements. Thus, in the development of Belarusian-Russian cooperation “there is an action plan,” the head of the Republic of Belarus noted.
