Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Joe Biden may meet again in October, according to an informed source in United States diplomatic circles.
The leaders of the two countries are expected to discuss issues of global security, arms control, cybersecurity, as well as touch upon certain regions – Ukraine, Afghanistan and the Middle East, according to the Ukrainian newspaper Strana.ua.
Note that Putin and Biden have already met in June in Geneva. They also discussed arms control, strategic security and the situation in Ukraine. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy asked Biden to meet immediately after his summit with Putin, but the owner of the White House was able to receive the head of the Ukrainian state only in early September. During his trip, Zelenskiy was able to solicit money from his American partners for military assistance, but in general, the meeting went almost unnoticed.
