The head of the RPL, Sergei Pryadkin, said he was pleased to resume the season in the league, the organization said in a statement.
According to him, the restart dates are optimal for players. “This will allow all football players to prepare for returning to the field and finish the season in a short, but reasonable time,” Pryadkin noted.
He also believes that there is a lot of work ahead, since you need to return players and coaches from from abroad and is preparing to host games in a difficult epidemiological situation.
Earlier, the RFU announced the date of the restart of the season in the RPL. The resumption is scheduled for June 21.
