Princess Sofia / her sons Alexander and Gabriel
The 41-year-old Swedish prince Carl Philip and his 35-year-old wife, Princess Sofia, are doing everything possible to make their two sons remember this summer, despite the coronavirus pandemic. For example, yesterday Karl and Sofia, together with four-year-old Alexander and two-year-old Gabriel, went on a family trip to the Nynes nature reserve.
In nature, the couple enjoyed the fresh air with their children, walked a lot, and at the end of the day had a picnic right on the shore of Lake Giesesen. For a walk, Karl and Sofia also took their beloved dog, who was happy to swim in the lake after a hot day. The photos taken on the reserve’s territory, a couple of hours ago, shared on their official Instagram page.

Last week, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia also entertained themselves and their sons. Together they went on a bike ride through the countryside. At some point, they took a short break and stopped for a snack in a local cafe, where the children were able to make friends with one of his regular “workers” - a fluffy white rabbit.

Recall that last fall, the king of Sweden, Carl XVI Gustav, deprived his grandchildren of the titles of Their Royal Highnesses and said that they no longer have the right to claim the Swedish throne. At the same time, the children of Prince Carl Philip and his younger sister Madeleine will retain their titles of princes and princesses, dukes and duchesses, previously granted by the king, but will not be burdened with any royal duties. The changes did not affect the children of the eldest daughter of the king, Crown Princess Victoria - they retain royal titles and responsibilities.
