
The English Premier League has removed Russian businessman Roman Abramovich from managing London’s Chelsea.
The press service of the Premier League reported that the league council decided to remove Abramovich from the post of head of the London Chelsea. At the same time, the “aristocrats” will continue to train and play as long as the license of the UK government is valid.
Earlier, a package of sanctions was introduced against Abramovich. Russian billionaire blocked assets. Abramovich himself expressed his willingness to sell the club for 4.8 billion euros.
