Pumping water from a swimming pool or small garden pond, for example, requires a powerful pump. If you have an old blender, it can be done with a drive from it. It is simple and short-lived, so home-made is more than advisable.

Pump manufacturing process
The container is removed from the blender. It is necessary to dismantle its stem with the sleeve, the lower platform of the bowl, as well as the counterpart for the hook to the engine shaft.
Next, you need to shorten the length of the plug and the sewer pipe adapter. Before this, a hole is drilled in the plug for the stem with the sleeve. The lower platform of the container is prepared in the same way.
A sleeve is glued into the plug. Then it is screwed to the platform and the joint is sealed with glue.
A disc with a diameter of 50 mm for the impeller is cut out of the tin. Blades in the form of bent strips are soldered to it, made of the same material. For the solder to hold, the parts need to be sanded.
A rod with a counterpart of the engine shaft engagement is inserted into the previously glued sleeve. On the reverse side, a homemade impeller is put on from the inside for fitting.
Opposite it, on the side of the plug, it is required to embed a fitting for pouring water. To do this, it is drilled and a piece of pipe with a diameter of 20 mm, previously cut at an acute angle, is glued into the hole.
After that, the rod with the hook and the impeller is clamped. A ring from a 63 mm tube is inserted into the plug. It is used to install an adapter into which a 32 mm pipe will enter. All parts are assembled with glue.
The pump body is then inserted into the blender instead of the container. A hose is connected to a 32 mm pipe, which must be lowered into the water. After switching on, the pump itself will draw water into the body, and supply it under pressure through the side tube of 20 mm.
