Potato cake for breakfast in 15 minutes: easier and tastier than potato pancakes

An ideal breakfast of potatoes and eggs can be cooked in a pan in just 15 minutes. You will need a minimum of ingredients and effort.

Potato cake: recipe

Ingredients:

  • Potato – 4 pcs. (450-500 g)
  • Egg – 2 pcs.
  • Green onions – small bunch
  • Salt, ground black pepper – to taste
  • Vegetable oil

Step by step cooking

  1. Grate potatoes on a coarse grater.
  2. Add 0.5 tsp. salt and squeeze the potatoes out of the liquid.
  3. Finely chop the green onion.
  4. Add salt and ground black pepper to the eggs. Stir.
  5. Pour a sufficient amount of vegetable oil into the pan, put the potatoes.
  6. Tamp a little. Pour eggs on top. Sprinkle with green onions.
  7. Fry over low heat for 10 minutes covered. Flip and fry for another 6-10 minutes over low heat without a lid, so that the potatoes remain crisp on top.
