Russian journalist and TV presenter Vladimir Pozner criticized the attitude of Western countries to the Russian vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik V, RIA Novosti reports.
Pozner noted that he had no reason to doubt the veracity of the statements of Russian scientists, but the West perceives the domestic drug as "idiotic."
The TV presenter also expressed the opinion that in this particular case "politics prevails over reason."
“It's idiotic, of course, but it is,” he said.
Earlier, representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation reported that all regions of the country received trial batches of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus.
