The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has excluded ex-president Petro Poroshenko from the list of persons on the domestic wanted list. This is evidenced by the data on the website of the ministry.
Before that, Poroshenko’s profile was in the “Wanted” section, he was indicated as a person hiding from the pre-trial investigation authorities.
Recall that today the politician flew to Kiev from Warsaw. Currently, he is in the Pechersky District Court of Kiev, which chooses a measure of restraint for him in the case of treason.
The prosecution is asking for Poroshenko to be taken into custody with the possibility of posting a bail of more than $35.7 million.
Recall that the ex-president is suspected of treason and support of terrorism in the case of coal supplies from Donbass in 2014-2015. Earlier, a Kiev court arrested all Poroshenko’s property.
