Ex-President of Ukraine declared himself the organizer of the plan to detain Russians in Minsk
Petro Poroshenko said that the operation to arrest 33 Russians was planned by him personally back in 2018. So at that time the current president was going to “punish” Russia for the situation with the downed Boeing MH17.
Let us remind you that at the end of July near Minsk they detained the employees of the supposedly PMC “Wagner” who, on the suspicion of the Belarusian special services, were planning provocations in the republic before the presidential elections. Later it turned out that Belarus received a tip on the Russians from Ukraine. Kiev intended to get the men to be expelled from Minsk in order to punish them for “participation in the war”, but this did not work out.
The ex-president of Ukraine said on the air of Channel 5 that “specific persons” were involved in the disruption of the operation. He demanded to organize an investigation and remove all those involved in this, because, as he assures, these people committed “high treason.”
According to him, all the employees who were planning to detain the “Wagnerians” are Ukrainian heroes, and attempts to punish those responsible for the disaster with MH17 cannot be stopped, writes URA.RU.
“We must put in the dock those who were involved not only in the murders of Ukrainians directly on the battlefield, during the occupation, but also those who were involved in issuing criminal orders,” he urged.
Earlier, the ex-prime minister of Ukraine spoke about Poroshenko’s revenge on Yanukovych.
