Popova urged to prevent “dissent” regarding the vaccine against COVID

The head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova, speaking at the Pandemic 2020 forum, spoke about her concerns about the spread of information about the coronavirus, RIA Novosti reports.

The head of the department is convinced that now the most important thing is to convey knowledge to the public, while developing a sense of responsibility in people.

In addition, Popova stated the need to prevent dissent, primarily in relation to the COVID-19 vaccine.

“This is what will certainly give us much greater confidence in the epidemiological situation, in its forecasting and in blocking its further development,” she stressed.

According to the latest data, in Russia the number of infected patients increased to 1,326,178, over the past day, 13,868 new infections were recorded in the country. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 1,031,785 people have recovered, and 22,966 have died.
