The author of the material, Kazimierz Vuychitsky, believes that the current policy of Moscow is aimed at returning Russia to the status of a Eurasian superpower. In his opinion, the implementation of such a scenario is facilitated by the gradual fading of the influence of Washington and Brussels on the world stage.
The expert predicts that by getting rid of pressure from Western countries, the Russian Federation will be able to increase cooperation with China in various fields, as well as strengthen ties in the BRICS group (includes five countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – ed.) … In addition, Moscow will be able to regain its former influence in Eastern Europe and partially strengthen it in Central Europe.
“This scenario may be associated with certain modernization initiatives. Moscow will start to take care of the Siberian economy, directing all surplus from exports to investments in the region, ”the Polish analyst believes.
Vuychitsky is sure that the prerequisites for the implementation of this course are already noticeable. According to him, the implementation of the “imperial” scenario becomes even more likely against the backdrop of a severe energy crisis in the West.
Earlier, energy expert Alexander Frolov explained why the European Union will not be able to get out of the gas crisis in the near future.
