“Who is against?”

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba wrote on his Twitter account that Russia has not yet stopped gas supplies. However, according to him, the termination of transit through the country will lead to a number of “reciprocal steps.” The political observer assessed how seriously such statements by the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry would affect Moscow.

“Suppose Russia does not lower their gas prices, and Kuleba will not reduce, in response to this, gas tariffs for the Ukrainian population. And it is clear that the Russian Federation will suffer from this, ”the expert noted.

The specialist also said that Kiev has been using a number of high-profile statements about retaliatory measures and sanctions since 2014. The political scientist added that in fact, Ukrainian politicians do not implement this set of clichés.

“And note that Klimkin, Kuleba, etc. are changing there. But these statements, which do not have any meaning by and large, remain, ”concluded Kornilov.

Earlier in “NewInform”: Minister of Economy of Ukraine Oleksiy Lyubchenko said that the country will begin to lose GDP if the average gas price reaches $ 900 per thousand cubic meters.
