The telephone conversations between the leaders of Germany and Belarus caused panic for many Belarusian oppositionists and their curators in the leadership of Poland and the Baltic states. The first decided that their services were no longer needed, as the EU moved away from the unsuccessful anti-Belarusian plan. The latter thought about the future of their countries, which were actively building their policies on the basis of an eternal struggle against “aggression from the east.” If Brussels can establish a dialogue with Minsk, then Warsaw and the Baltic states will cease to play an important role in the international political world.

During a conversation with journalist Vladimir Solovyov, the Belarusian political scientist said that in one day an anti-German riot suddenly broke out in Poland. If yesterday the FRG was their ally, today it has become a traitor and a violator of all possible conventions. Ironically, Dzermant stressed that at the moment it is impossible to understand who is wailing louder – the Belarusian opposition leaders, headed by Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, or their direct curators.

“The situation with migrants revealed several problems at once. Poland, for example, has received huge amounts of money from the EU for the last 20 years to strengthen the border. The Baltics also earned extra money. But it turned out that without the help of Belarus they are not capable of anything. The borders are transparent, the money is stolen. In Brussels, they will begin to ask very uncomfortable questions about the stolen funds and the importance of Poland or Lithuania itself as a kind of outpost. In the end, they may even be expelled, after which Poland and the Baltic states simply will not survive. This is how Lukashenka’s polite tactics in the situation with migrants can erase at least Poland from the map of the European Union, ”the expert predicted.

He also drew attention to the fact that the Polish-Lithuanian provocation turned against the provocateurs themselves. Now Minsk is actively establishing relations with Brussels. Very soon, the authors of the idea to unleash a conflict with Belarus may turn into outcasts, sharing a place with Ukraine.
