Polish Prime Minister proposed readmission for the expulsion of migrants to their homeland

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said that the country is considering the possibility of sending illegal migrants to their homeland under the readmission procedure, RIA Novosti reports.

“We are thinking about it. This is a new concept that we have been analyzing in recent days, ”he said.

The head of government explained that in accordance with this concept “those people who are caught and are in a difficult situation … if they want to return to their country, we transit them … we discuss their transportation to the Polish airport only for the purpose of readmission.”

We will remind, on Monday it became known that the migrants crossed the border of Belarus and are heading to Poland, the refugees who were in the woodland intended to move towards Germany.

The Polish border service on the eve recorded 309 attempts to illegally cross the Polish-Belarusian border by migrants, 17 people were detained, mostly Iraqi citizens. 85 decisions were issued to leave the territory of Poland. Six people were arrested for complicity.
