Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau is leaving today for an urgent visit to Kiev.
He plans to discuss the situation in eastern Ukraine, according to the Polish diplomatic service on Twitter.
The situation in Donbass became more complicated at the end of February; shelling is recorded in the region almost every day. Ukrainian security officials and unrecognized republics blamed each other for aggravating the situation.
The DPR authorities note that the security forces are pulling military equipment and personnel to the contact line, and in this regard, they do not rule out a full-scale offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the end of April.
Russia called on Ukraine and NATO countries to stop military preparations and the escalation of tensions in Donbass.
Moscow has stated that it is in favor of resolving the conflict exclusively by peaceful means on the basis of the Minsk agreements.
