Closing the borders may result in a loss for the Polish economy, which depends on migrants from Ukraine, 20 billion dollars, writes Bloomberg.

It is noted that Polish construction companies are forced to freeze projects. The country's Ministry of Finance expects a reduction in the economy this year by 1%.
“Lack of workers will lead to a significant decrease in productivity of the industry,” reads an open letter to the government of the Polish Association of Construction Employers.
About % of Ukrainian workers have already left home and will not return until the borders are open. According to some estimates, about 2 million Ukrainians work in Poland.
