Poland expects another influx of migrants

Poland expects an influx of new groups of migrants who gather in Minsk to move westward. The newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza was informed about this by Stanislav Zharyn, the press secretary of the minister coordinating the work of the Polish special services.

“In the coming days or even hours there will be more migrants,” the media quoted him as saying.

Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov expressed the opinion that a humanitarian catastrophe was impending on the Polish-Belarusian border.

It also became known that three people were detained in Poland for helping refugees, one of them is a Russian.

Let us remind you that on Monday, November 8, the situation on the Polish-Belarusian border worsened. Thousands of migrants attempted to enter the territory of the EU state. The Ministry of Defense of Poland reported that illegal immigrants who appeared on the territory of the republic on Tuesday evening were detained. They were returned to Belarus. The spokesman for the Polish government, Piotr Müller, said that the country is considering the possibility of a complete closure of the border due to the migration crisis.
