“Pirates of the Caribbean” without Johnny Depp predicted failure

Continuation of “Pirates of the Caribbean” without Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow will be a failure. Actor Kevin McNally, who played Mr. Gibbs, is sure of this.

Depp’s career was greatly influenced by the scandal with his ex-wife Amber Heard. He had to give up the role of Grindelwald in the sequel to Fantastic Beasts. The creators of “Pirates of the Caribbean” themselves did not want to deal with him.

“I think giving up Johnny is a crime. Many simply will not go to the new “Pirates” without him. Personally, it would not be easy for me to decide. A film like this would look strange, ”McNally said.

Disney has two Pirates of the Caribbean films in development. One will be a prequel, the other a spin-off.

Warner Bros. Studio announced who will play in “Fantastic Beasts” instead of Johnny Depp. Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen was invited to play Grindelwald.
