Peskov: the decision on compulsory vaccination of children is not made in the Kremlin

The press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the decision on compulsory vaccination of children against coronavirus is not the prerogative of the Kremlin, it should be taken by specialists, TASS reports.

He said this, answering a question from journalists, how the administration of the head of state treats the introduction of mandatory vaccinations against covid for children and QR codes.

“This is not the prerogative of the Kremlin,” the agency quotes Peskov as saying.

Earlier in October, the director of the Gamaleya Center, Alexander Gintsburg, announced the registration of a children’s vaccine against coronavirus, which may be called Sputnik M.

He also talked about the side effects of Sputnik V for children and adolescents who took part in the vaccine trials.
