Peskov spoke about his bilateral pneumonia and the “bloodthirsty coronavirus”

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov for the first time after hospitalization with coronavirus spoke in detail about his state of health. He confirmed that he had bilateral pneumonia. According to him, until the last he thought that he would be able to avoid infection, as he used protective equipment, worked mainly distancing himself from colleagues.

Peskov even wore a special “virus blocker” badge, which, according to unconfirmed reports, can somehow help with prevention. After comments on this, Peskov took it off. In an interview with Kommersant, he admitted that he might have given in to skepticism about this in vain.

“One of the tests came and showed a positive result ... I had to go into self-isolation mode after May 1 ... Well 37, 4 in the afternoon ... Well 37, 8 in the night ... "- said Peskov.

According to him, the temperature began to rise and the wife, figure skater Tatyana Navka . At the same time, at first they thought it would cost, but soon realized that the condition was getting worse, and went to do a CT scan.

“The main thing in this disease is not to miss. This virus is absolutely bloodthirsty, ”Peskov said.

He assured that he hadn’t personally communicated with President Vladimir Putin for more than a month, since the moment of self-isolation, he had been communicating with colleagues remotely, since only family members turned out to be“ contact ” . As for where he was not fortunate enough to become infected, Peskov could not make any assumptions. Kommersant’s columnist Andrei Kolesnikov also asked him about personal drivers (as MK found out, drivers in the State Duma neglect ways to protect themselves from the virus). Peskov noted that he himself drives and goes to the grocery store, and “in addition to the drivers, there are many more people with whom you contact.”

Regarding the prospects for further life in the world with coronavirus, Peskov admitted that in some way the world will change. He also expressed confidence that in spite of everything, there will not be a 100% guarantee against infection: “My example for this is too good confirmation.”
