Kremlin official spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Vladimir Putin decided to get vaccinated against coronavirus infection.
When exactly this will happen, the Russian president himself will say. The main thing is that he definitely intends to be vaccinated, said Peskov on the air of “Russia 1”.
The presidential press secretary explained that Vladimir Putin had made the decision on vaccination earlier, but he was just waiting for all the necessary formalities to be completed.
We will remind, at the annual press conference, Putin said that he had not yet taken root, since “Sputnik V” is not designed for those over 60 years old. And the president belongs to this category of citizens.
But the other day the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation approved the vaccine for use, including for the elderly. In Moscow, they announced an appointment for vaccinations on December 28.
