Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that there are no prerequisites for a conversation between Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky, TASS reports.
“So far we do not see and do not hear any political will to normalize our bilateral relations, which we would sincerely want,” the agency quotes Peskov as saying. “We do not yet see any political will to implement the Minsk agreements and the Paris agreements.”
“For a conversation at the highest level, at least the prerequisites must be ripe,” the Kremlin spokesman added.
He recalled that Putin has repeatedly expressed interest in normalizing relations with all neighboring states, including Ukraine.
