Peskov did not say whether Putin will be vaccinated publicly

The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that it is currently unknown whether the vaccination of Vladimir Putin will take place publicly under video recording or whether it will be announced through a press release. TASS reports.

According to Peskov, the President of Russia is going to be vaccinated against COVID-19, the decision has been made. But to complete the vaccination, you must wait for the completion of all test formalities for a specific age category.

Recall that the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation allowed the use of the Sputnik V vaccine for people over 60 years old. The effectiveness of the drug against coronavirus was reported by the developers of the vaccine – for people over 60 years old, it is more than 90%.

Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova said that she was vaccinated against COVID-19 at the stage of clinical trials of the drug. According to her, it was a personal desire.
