Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that Ukraine is a state unfriendly to Russia, reports TASS.
He clarified that this conclusion can be reached, “judging by those anti-Russian actions that constantly dominate the policy of the Ukrainian leadership.”
The Kremlin spokesman added that since the moment when Ukraine “took place a coup by force”, the country “turned into a project of Western countries.”
We will remind, on February 16, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine demanded from the UN, European Parliament, OSCE, NATO and other international structures to increase pressure on Russia.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin assessed the actions of the Ukrainian authorities, which closed three local TV channels. The head of state noted that such actions are a manifestation of double standards in understanding freedom of speech.
