Peskov announced a meeting between Putin and the governor of the Astrakhan region

Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a working meeting with Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin on Monday. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press secretary of the head of state Dmitry Peskov.

The meeting will take place “somewhere in the middle of the day,” a Kremlin spokesman said. According to him, Putin and Babushkin have something to talk about.

Peskov noted that Putin had an international telephone conversation on Monday. The President also plans to hold a number of non-public meetings.

Earlier it was reported that Vladimir Putin will hold talks with Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi. The exact date of the meeting has not yet been announced.
