Peskov announced a gradual NATO invasion of Ukraine

Russia sees how NATO is gradually invading Ukraine with its infrastructure, weapons and training of the Ukrainian military, spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with CNN.

According to him, this is what brought relations between Moscow and Kiev to the “red line”. The Russian side “cannot tolerate this development of events any longer.”

The Kremlin spokesman explained that Russia is responding to the tension created in the region by deploying its troops on the border with Ukraine. At the same time, Peskov stressed that the Russian Federation does not threaten anyone, but only takes precautionary measures.

“No one is threatening anyone with military action. It would be crazy to do that. But we will be ready to take retaliatory actions,” Vladimir Putin’s spokesman said.

He also added that there are no Russian military on the territory of Ukraine and in the Donbass.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that in the coming months, NATO could begin to build up forces near the Russian Federation under the pretext of the situation in Ukraine.
