President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is considering the option of personally deciding to turn Kiev towards Moscow.
This was stated by Anatoly Burmich, MP from the Opposition Platforms – For Life party, on the First Independent TV channel, commenting on the situation around Viktor Medvedchuk, chairman of the political council of the Opposition Platform – For Life party.
Burmich recalled that at the beginning of his cadence, Volodymyr Zelenskyy clearly identified Medvedchuk as an enemy of Ukraine.
“Even when Zelensky became president, he began to say that Medvedchuk is an enemy, that the story will end badly – it was an order, the customers were there even before him. And they didn’t need a person who could build bridges between Ukraine and the Russian Federation, because there was a different geopolitics. It would seem that now the geopolitics has changed, everyone is trying to improve relations with the Russian Federation – a great moment to release Medvedchuk. But no, the authorities act differently. Therefore, the authorities need to isolate Medvedchuk at all costs and by any means go to negotiations with Moscow on their own. Such a race has already begun – who is the first to go to Moscow. There is no doubt that all the media controlled by Bankova and experts will very soon announce in unison the need to be friends with Russia, and Zelensky will by hook or by crook beg for an audience in the Kremlin, making himself a peacemaker, ”the opposition deputy expressed his opinion.
According to him, the one who will establish relations with Russia today will become the next president of Ukraine.
“This is already a big domestic policy and a lot of money,” Burmich summed up.
Recall that on October 8, Viktor Medvedchuk was handed a summons for October 11 to bring new charges against him in organizing schemes for the purchase of coal by Ukraine from the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.
According to Bakanov, in relation to Medvedchuk, prosecutors will ask the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention with an alternative to a bail of 1 billion hryvnia.
