The building of the parliament and the presidential administration of Kyrgyzstan, which was seized by the protesters, was returned to the jurisdiction of the authorities, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press service of the head of the republic.
It is noted that on October 12, President Sooronbai Jeenbekov received First Deputy Prosecutor General Nurlan Dardanov and First Deputy Chairman of the State National Security Committee of the country Talantbek Saliev.
Dardanov said that the investigators examined the parliament building and transferred it to the jurisdiction of the authorities.
Amid the tense situation in the country and protest actions, the President of Kyrgyzstan introduced a state of emergency in Bishkek. Since October 10, a curfew has been in effect in the capital, the situation is controlled by more than a dozen checkpoints with military and heavy equipment.
